If Stillpoint does not respond as expected, first restore the original pointer with the emergency stop, then follow the steps below.

Restore the original pointer now

Press Control + Option + Command + Escape to turn off pointer stabilization and repeat-click protection together. Quitting Stillpoint also restores original input.

Permission did not take effect

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and confirm that Stillpoint is allowed. If permission is revoked or event monitoring fails, Stillpoint stops assisting and will not continue to display an active state.

Double-clicking or dragging feels wrong

First turn off the separate Repeat-click protection feature, then choose a lighter stabilization level. The protection is off by default and should not affect normal clicks while disabled.

Report a problem

Email your macOS version, device type, Stillpoint version, and reproduction steps to support@guizhi.cc. Do not send pointer trajectories, health information, Apple Account passwords, or verification codes.
