HOW IT WORKS

It does not simply slow the mouse.
It separates unintended movement from deliberate motion.

01

Steady near a target

When the pointer makes small, repeated movements near a target, Stillpoint gradually reduces the disturbance to make aiming easier.

02

Let intentional motion through

Fast movement, longer travel, and dragging pass through without turning the pointer into a slow, sticky ball.

03

Stop immediately if needed

A global emergency shortcut turns off both stabilization and click protection without requiring precise pointer control.

⌃ ⌥ ⌘ Esc

THREE LEVELS

Three choices.
Each one easy to understand.

“Strong” does not mean better. It filters more small movement and may change the response more noticeably. Every launch starts with stabilization off, so you decide when to enable it.

01Light

Closest to the original response

02Medium

A balance of stability and response

03Strong

Filters more small movements

SEPARATE FEATURERepeat-click protection

Off by default. It never turns on automatically with stabilization.

LOCAL BY DESIGN

System permission,
without needing your data.

Stillpoint uses public macOS Accessibility APIs to adjust mouse events locally. It installs no driver, requires no root access, and does not change system mouse settings.

Why macOS calls this “Accessibility”
DOES NOT SAVEReal pointer trajectories
DOES NOT READScreen or window content
DOES NOT USENetwork or cloud services
DOES NOT INSTALLDrivers or background components
PERMISSION / 01

Why is Accessibility permission required?

macOS groups the ability to read and adjust mouse events across apps under Accessibility. Permission only lets Stillpoint process mouse movement and click protection you explicitly enable. It does not read the screen or save your input.

QUESTIONS

Clear answers
before you try it.

When should you try pointer stabilization?

More questions? Email support@guizhi.cc

01Does Stillpoint turn a mouse into a drawing tablet?

No. Stillpoint is not drawing software and cannot turn a regular mouse into a pen tablet. It only adds stabilization when the pointer is near a target and small, unintended movements appear.

02Why does it need Accessibility permission?

macOS places cross-app mouse adjustment under Accessibility permission. Stillpoint only processes mouse movement and the click protection you choose to enable; it does not read screen content.

03Does it save my pointer trajectory?

No. Real pointer data is processed in memory and is never saved, uploaded, or used for analytics. The calibration view uses a fixed synthetic example.

04Can repeat-click protection interfere with double-clicking?

It is separate from pointer stabilization and off by default. When enabled, you can test a normal double-click inside the app and turn it off immediately if it feels wrong.

05When can I buy it?

You can buy it now for a one-time US$9.99 payment through Creem. After payment, Creem delivers the Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized production DMG.
